Activity Modules

TSE's PhenoMaster / LabMaster system is comprehensively equipped to analyze multiple facets of animal activity. All modules run on the common software platform with extended experimental design and analysis capabilities.

  • Total activity is measured with the help of lid-mounted InfraMot sensors detecting the heat signature of the test animal
  • Movement patterns and duration of stay are measured with the ActiMot2 light beam frames
  • Together with ActiMot2, several dedicated Inserts allow temporary classical anxiety and exploration experiments
  • Voluntary, forced or conditioned activity can be tested in various running wheels.
